Making the world cleaner with Adiatek

Making the world cleaner with Adiatek

Many of the best things in the world come from Italy. The country can boast a fabulous heritage of food and drink, world famous art and architecture, innovative car design and of course, Adiatek, a manufacturing company from Verona who design and produce industrial floor cleaning machines. Since 2003, Adiatek have been producing award-winning and reliable floor scrubbers and sweepers.

Starting with just 10 employees, this family business has grown substantially and now the Adiatek brand is recognised in more than 30 countries and proudly bears the ‘Made in Italy’ quality mark. Floor scrubber Ruby was the first in the world to incorporate to incorporate a draining hose and the hydraulic brushes base lifting system was another industry award winner. Adiatek continue to produce innovative designs in the industry, such as water saving technology through their Eco-green system and self driving machines.

R-Quartz: your new employee of the month

Adiatek are proud to be at the cutting edge of floor cleaning innovation with their autonomous floor scrubbers. With these ‘robot’ machines completing repetitive tasks, staff can get on with other more complex jobs, ensuring your site gets really clean, really fast. Welcome to your new employee of the month: the R-Quartz. The human operator simply has to fill the tanks of this nifty machine with water and detergent and perform the cleaning path only once. The settings and the path are memorised by R-Quartz and it can get on with the task quickly and efficiently.

The 24V 330 Ah lithium battery pack offers up to 6 hours of battery life and a quick 5 hour charge. It doesn’t even need a tea break! It can also store different paths and different cleaning modes so this clever machine can create work sequences by combining different paths, to suit individual specifications. The telematics system means that the operator can view the machine’s progress via smartphone, as well as the time remaining before the job is complete.

Save water with Adiatek’s Eco-green system

This robotic floor scrubber can clean a 2,500 m2 area with just 75 litres of water, thanks to Eco-green options installed on the machine. This means water and detergent use are carefully controlled, creating more environmentally friendly cleaning. Adiatek were delighted to hear that the Fiumara shopping centre in Genoa, Italy reported that their cleaning water consumption reduced by half, after using the new R-Quartz.

Water shortage looms

England faces a 5 billion litre public water shortage by 2055 unless urgent action is taken, according to a recent report by the Environment Agency’s National Framework for Water Resources. A growing population coupled with climate change and environmental pressures has contributed to this stark situation. Emerging industries such as data centres and hydrogen production require vast amounts of water to cool their systems. It is clear that homes and businesses need to be more aware of water as a precious resource. Environment Agency Chair Alan Lovell said “The nation’s water resources are under huge and steadily increasing pressure. This deficit threatens not only the water from your tap, but also economic growth and food production.”

Adiatek: making the world cleaner

Adiatek are here to help businesses save water in their floor cleaning operations. Their passion for innovative design and the environment is shown in their 3S Solution Saving System, which be installed on most models, helping industrial cleaning to be more sustainable. The Ozone System has been developed to make cleaning without chemicals possible too. Adiatek: making the world cleaner.
